There are many types of headaches , in fact nearly 150 diagnostic headache types have been established.Some of the common types of headaches are mentioned below.


  1. Tension Headaches
  2. Cluster Headaches
  3. Migraines
  4. Mixed Headache Syndrome






 It is also known as tension-type headache or  chronic daily headache.And it is the most   common type of primary headache.Signs and symptoms of a tension headache are dull aching head pain , tenderness on your scalp , pressure around the forehead etc. 


Cluster Headaches are severe headache on one side of the head,typically around the eye. Pain of this cluster headache is severe.This headaches may completely disappear for months or years,only to recur without any warning. 
           


Migraines are pulsating and severe headaches. Its symptoms can vary from person to person.Some common symptoms of this headaches are blurred vision,vomiting,stomach upset,fever etc.


Mixed Headache Syndrome

Mixed Headache Syndrome is also known as transformed migraines. Its one of the combination of Migraine and Tension Headaches.
