Sprain is usually caused by the forced movement of joints to
angles where it is not suppose to move. This will damage the ligaments and
causes pain.
Treatment:
- The sprain is quite painful and rest is a must. Crutches should be used while walking in order to stay away from pain and giving stress.
- Applying ice pack on the area which is effected helps in reducing the pain. 10 to 20 minutes twice daily will help as it is scientifically proved.

- Compression socks can be used to compress the effected region which helps in reducing the swelling on that region.
